supported by British Council:
Collection of thoughts, sounds and performances

As 2021 British Council Grantees: UK-Southeast Asia Connections Through Culture, Scott Wilson and Piyawat Louilarpprasert curated a collection of  music, sound and discussion under the theme: “Resilience, Distance, Connection in Isolation, Space from Afar”. The curation consisted of performances by Thai and UK composers, panel discussions, lockdown concerts and telematic improvisation.

Leading new music and arts symposium/festival in Thailand

Piyawat has been appointed to be an artistic director for 2020 Thailand New Music and Arts Symposium: Human Technology and Simulation. The symposium consisted of performances, discussions, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars which featured works by composers, artists and performers from around the world though different processes such as open calls and team searches.

Repertoire Requirement for Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition 2020

The Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition 2020 is the result of collaboration between the King Power Company (The King of Duty Free) and the College of Music, Mahidol University. This TIWSC competition is open to anyone, regardless of age or nationality. It is an opportunity to promote Wind Symphony music in Thailand and a chance for the event to bring together musicians from different countries. More info please click on the title (link) above. For the Class A Wind Symphony Category, each band or symphony will select piece(s) from 3 representative Thai Composers to perform as a repertoire requirement.
